STEP ONE: Measure and Cut
Measure the width of your fabric, then divide the total in half.
(Example: 44in widthx2=22in)
Measure up from bottom straight edge the total distance from your calculation above and then cut your fabric horizontally.
(Example: Now you will have a piece that is 44x22in)
Cut that piece in half widthwise.
(Example: Now you will have two pieces that are 22x22in.)
Repeat process until you have desired number of pieces.
STEP TWO: Measure Corners
On the wrong side of the fabric, with a ruler measure 5/8in in down and in from each corner. Make a mark where the two lines intersect.
STEP THREE: Fold Corners
Fold each corner to the point you marked in the step above and iron.
STEP FOUR: Fold Edges
Fold the bottom raw edge up 5/8in and iron.
STEP FIVE: Fold Edges
Repeat step four for the top edge.
STEP SIX: Fold Edges
Repeat step four for remaining edges.
STEP SEVEN: Repeat Process STEP EIGHT: Sew Hem
Repeat steps two through six again, this time increasing the measure to 3/4in.
Sew your hem 1/4in from the outer edge to complete your napkin.
