monthly craft project tutorials and giveaways

 

I am pretty excited about some plans for 2010 that I wanted to share with you.

The last few months I have really enjoyed making new craft project/tutorials and sharing them with you. So for 2010 I plan on posting a new maggie makes craft project/tutorial each month. The finished projects will make great gifts for someone else or to keep for yourself. Each project will continue to include variations to give you ideas on how to personalize them.

HINT: The first project will be posted in the next few weeks and will be suitable for beginner sewers (including kids with supervision), doesn't require a sewing machine, can be given as a kit or finished project and will give you a jump start on Valentine's Day.

The second part of my announcement is that along with each tutorial will be a monthly giveaway. The prizes will be related to the new project. It could be a finished example, supplies, etc.

There will be at least two prizes awarded, each with a different way to be eligible and separate drawings for winners. Readers can be eligible for both drawings and deadlines will be announced with each new tutorial.

To encourage you to share your finished projects with me, I will award one of the prizes to a reader who has posted a photo of a finished project using any maggie makes tutorial to my flickr pool since the previous give away was awarded. One entry per reader and winner will be chosen randomly. So get your photos posted!

To be eligible for my second prize just leave a note on the blog post that introduces the new project. One entry per reader and winner will be chosen at random.
